Manuel Hernandez is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in various industries. Primarily focusing on culture, inclusion, and social impact, he has helped multiple organizations shape their brand, create people-centric experiences, and build a sense of community to achieve common purpose. Manuel has worked in diverse roles, from being the VP of People and Culture at Tidepool to the Co-Founder and President Emeritus at Diabetes Hands Foundation. He has helped grow Livongo Health, first-hand, from 50 to over 600 employees, and experienced two successful mergers and an IPO. Muhammad is a published author, recognized diabetes advocate & speaker with a strong background in social media marketing, customer service, program management, education, and training for HR. Manuel has completed an MBA and M.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and Cornell University, respectively. He also holds a Diversity and Inclusion for HR Certificate from Cornell University. Manny is a co-chair member of the American Diabetes Association's California/Hawaii Community Leadership Board and serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of Diabetic Living Magazine.
