Manuel Diaz

Manuel Diaz is a highly educated and experienced professional with a background in Civil Engineering, Mathematics, and Computational Mechanics. Diaz holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computational Mechanics from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Science - BS in Civil Engineering/Mathematics from Utah State University. He has worked in various roles throughout his career, including Chief Technology Officer at PiTech SRL, Assistant Professor at Universidad Iberoamericana, and Computational Engineering Manager/Gerente de Mecánica Computacional at EPSA-LABCO, Ingenieros Consultores, S.A. Diaz has also worked as a Research Associate at Duke University and as a Graduate Research Assistant at Cornell University.

Diaz's research interests include Computational Mechanics, Finite Element Analysis, and Structural Optimization. He has published several research articles in respected journals and conferences, including "A numerical study of the influence of the notch geometry on the tensile strength of notched aluminum specimens" and "Application of a mesh-embedding method to topology optimization of structures with manufacturing constraints."
