Manon van de Woestijne

Manon van de Woestijne is a dedicated Master's student with a keen interest in Political Economy and Political Science, and a strong passion for promoting gender equality.

She completed her studies in Master of Public Administration - MPA, Economics and Governance, as well as an Honours BSc in Governance, Economics, and Development, achieving Cum Laude honors at Leiden University.

Manon has gained valuable experience through various roles such as Project Manager at Vereniging voor OverheidsManagement, Municipal Election Employee at Gemeente Leiden, and Intern at Vereniging voor OverheidsManagement.

She has also served in multiple positions at Leiden University College The Hague including Student Assistant for Recruitment and Communication, Head Mentor, Student Ambassador, and Mentor, showcasing her leadership and organizational skills.

Additionally, Manon has been actively involved in promoting women's empowerment as Head of Programme at Women in Innovation and Leadership (WIL) and as an Innovation Team Member at the same organization.

Her diverse background includes experience as a Waitress at De Eetboetiek, highlighting her versatility and ability to work in various environments.
