Prior to founding Inkwell in 2015, DeFelice served as the Executive Director and General Counsel of the AHA Foundation from 2010 to 2014, where she focused on ending honor violence, forced marriage, child marriage, and female genital mutilation in the United States.2 She also worked as an Assistant Counsel in Mayor Michael Bloomberg's Office of Criminal Justice, helping develop New York City's first policies to address human trafficking victims.1
