Manoj Illangasooriya is a forward-thinking technologist with a strong focus on technological innovations for environmental sustainability and human well-being.

His passion lies in the areas of Commercial Lighting, Solar energy, Micro-Grids, HVAC system Automation, Demand Response (DR), Smart Energy Monitoring, Smart City solutions, and Internet of Things (IoT).

Manoj has a diverse set of software capabilities including AutoCAD, Solarege Designer, Revit, PVSYST, Homer-Pro, AGI32, Dialux, Microsoft Project, Sketchup, Solidworks, and AGI Photometric Tool-box.

His design expertise spans across Commercial Lighting, Commercial Solar, Microgrid Modeling, commercial HVAC modeling, and 3D product design.

He holds a Green Belt in Six Sigma Productivity from IIT and has pursued a Master's degree in Technology Management from the University of Moratuwa, along with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of Peradeniya and a Diploma in Project Management from the London Business School.

Manoj has contributed his skills and knowledge as a Design Engineer at Maximum Energy, and has previously held roles as a Design Engineer at Telstra, Senior Lighting Design Engineer at LED Lighting Inc., and Head of Research and Development at Clipsal.
