Manish Singhal

Manish Singhal is a seasoned technologist, entrepreneur, and venture capitalist with over 28 years of experience in various fields including deep technology, investing, and mentoring startups.

He is the founding partner of pi Ventures, a venture fund he established in 2016 with a focus on accelerating the growth of Artificial Intelligence startups in India and promoting deep tech innovation.

Passionate about digital disruptions and advancements in areas beyond digital like space tech and bio tech, Manish aims to position India as a key player on the global innovation map.

Prior to pi Ventures, he co-founded LetsVenture, a leading platform connecting startups with early stage investors, and also served as the India country manager for Sling Media Inc, where he played a crucial role in its successful acquisition.

Having studied Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, Manish has a solid foundation in technology and has played pivotal roles in companies like Ittiam Systems, Motorola, and Tata Elxsi, contributing to product development and team building.

In addition to his professional endeavors, he is actively involved in supporting women entrepreneurs through initiatives like Women Entrepreneur Quest and is also known for his work in standardizing MPEG-4 and holding patents in video technology.
