Manik Gupta

Manik Gupta is a member of the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee at CarGurus, having been appointed to these positions effective July 14, 2023. He brings nearly 25 years of experience in the technology sector, currently serving as the Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Teams, which has over 300 million users across various segments, including enterprises and small businesses.12

Prior to his role at Microsoft, Gupta held significant positions at major technology companies such as Uber and Google. At Uber, he was the Chief Product Officer, where he contributed to the growth of the user base to over 100 million monthly active customers and played a key role in the company's IPO in May 2019. At Google, he led the long-term product vision and strategy for Google Maps, enhancing the platform through innovative data utilization and machine learning.132

Gupta holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.1 His extensive background in product leadership and marketplace platforms is expected to be a valuable asset for CarGurus as it aims to drive strategic growth and innovation in the automotive market.23
