Manik Arora

Manik Arora is the Chairman and CEO of Rise Group, a Singapore-based advisory and holding company that focuses on technology ventures in Southeast Asia. He has a strong educational background, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Swarthmore College and an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at MIT, where he was awarded the McCabe Fellowship.

Prior to his current role at Rise Group, Arora was the Founder and Managing Director of IDG Ventures India, a prominent venture capital firm where he led over 30 investments in early- and expansion-stage technology companies, including well-known brands like Flipkart and Myntra. His career also includes experience as a technology investor at Battery Ventures in Silicon Valley and roles at General Atlantic, American Express, and MasterCard International. Additionally, he began his professional journey as a strategy consultant with The Boston Consulting Group in Southeast Asia.

Arora is recognized for his contributions to the digital business landscape in India and has been named one of the "25 Powerful People in Indian Digital Business" by Digirati. He is also a Charter Member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) and has served as a mentor to emerging entrepreneurs in the field.12
