Mani Kulasooriya

Mani Kulasooriya is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cut+Dry, formerly known as Codify AI, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has over 20 years of experience in strategy, product management, and entrepreneurship. Mani has been leading Cut+Dry since February 2019, focusing on addressing inefficiencies in the global food supply chain by transforming unstructured data into actionable insights.1

Before founding Cut+Dry, Mani was an Entrepreneur In Residence at SRI International, where he explored commercialization opportunities for advanced technology and research.1 He also served as Senior Vice President at Sysco Labs from 2014 to 2018, where he contributed to developing innovative technology solutions for the hospitality industry.1

Mani co-founded CAKE Corporation, a company that developed cloud-based systems for the restaurant sector, which was eventually acquired by Sysco.1 His earlier ventures include founding Monvia, a consulting and incubator firm, and CrossFunds, a startup focused on cross-border payments.1 Mani also held a senior product management role at Yahoo! and was part of Citigroup's e-Citi Global Management Program.1

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tulane University and an MBA from Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management.1 Mani is proficient in Sinhalese, Spanish, and English.1
