Mandhy Senewiratne

Mandhy Senewiratne is an internationally experienced Sustainability Consultant and Trainer, recognized as the Environmental Professional of the Year in 2020 by the Society for the Environment.

With over 15 years of experience, she excels in delivering sustainable projects for the water and construction industries, utilizing her expertise in BREEAM, carbon, and water legislation.

As a chartered member of the Institute of Water and CIWEM, Mandhy has a strong leadership and communication skills, managing complex projects in the built environment, water, and construction sectors.

Passionate about coaching and training, she mentors and assesses professionals, focusing on developing the next generation within the water sector and promoting sustainable design and compliance.

Mandhy also leads responses in carbon reduction, circular economies, and Corporate Social Responsibility, aiming to achieve a sustainable low carbon economy and progress.

Outside her sustainability work, Mandhy is 'Mad Mandhy', a facilitator at Mad Science, inspiring children in science and STEM education.

Currently, she serves as the Director of Fyrefly Global Sustainability, where she endeavors to promote sustainability practices worldwide.
