Achieved 35% growth with 10% incremental share gain in 3 years for an initial $75+M portfolio.

Built a team of 50 marketing and sales consultative experts with 5 direct reports, and implemented a multi-segment awareness, education, training program for endos, GPs, Nurses, and Pharmacists in alliance with Harvard Medical, Joslin Clinic, and the Brazilian Society of Endocrinology (SBD). Launched business / products in 8 months; and achieved break-even in 1.5 years (1 year ahead of plan) with $10 M revenue (40% over plan), #1 in recommendations and market share (43%), and increase in test frequency from 1 to 4/week by 3rd year. Resulted in Bayer closing down its diabetes division.

Co-built and trained new marketing, sales, customer service, and operations departments in Roche Brazil's Diabetes Division, post merger w/BMC; negotiated and managed transition and transfer of the Advantage® Blood Glucose Monitor / Strip Diabetes business, including premature contract termination, operations, inventory, and customers, from Eli Lilly in 6 months.

Created the VIP program for continuous feedback from Hospital, Laboratory and Nursing Managers to define an evolving market, its business potential, product needs, marketing / sales plans, and phase reviews using QFD New Product Development process. Launched the AccuData POC Data Mgmt System w/ LIS - HIS interface for hospital bedside glucose monitoring. Developed portfolio strategies, defined new product needs, identified external development and manufacturing partners to complement core internal competencies, negotiated agreements, and led multi-country technology transfer co-development and commercialization of 12+ products for the Biomedical Division that simulated and monitored normal / abnormal human physiological and critical care parameters like ECG, Arrythmia, BP, HR, Pacemakers, Respiration, Cardiac Flow etc,

For the Laboratory Division, responsible for sales, distribution, support, and a technology transfer manufacturing deal in India.
