Manas Bajaj is a seasoned professional with broad experience across global finance and investment, education, private equity, and strategy development. Educated at Cathedral & John Connon School and later at Wesleyan University, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Economics, Manas continued his education with a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School.
He began his career as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Deutsche Bank before transitioning to Credit Suisse as an Investment Banking Analyst. At Credit Suisse, he gained exposure to several industry sectors in Southeast Asia, India, and China. Manas then moved on to a role as Mba Intern at 3I Group Plc before settling into his post as Investment Professional at Samara Capital. With this leading middle-market private equity firm, he played a significant role in the $700 million buyout of More Retail Ltd.
Manas's expertise has not been limited to finance. He served as Chief Strategy Officer at ReachIvy, an education startup in Mumbai, where he was responsible for strategy, sales, business development, product development, digital marketing, and private equity firm. Additionally, he held positions as a Teaching Assistant for Introductory Economics at Wesleyan University, Summer Operations and Sales Analyst at Deutsche Asset Management, and Summer Investment Manager at Tencent. In his spare time, he enjoys reading and playing tennis.
