Malika Middlebrooks

Malika Middlebrooks is a successful and results-oriented development professional with extensive experience in the arts and fundraising sector. She currently serves as the Interim Vice President of Development at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, California, a position she has held since December 2023.1

Prior to her current role, Malika has had a long-standing career at Segerstrom Center for the Arts, where she has steadily progressed through various positions:

In terms of education, Malika holds a B.A. in Communications Studies and Spanish from the University of Michigan, which she earned between 2004 and 2008.1

Professionally, Malika has achieved the Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) certification from CFRE International in September 2015, demonstrating her commitment to excellence in the fundraising field.1

Before joining Segerstrom Center for the Arts, Malika worked as a Major Gifts Associate at the University of Michigan Health System and as a College Representative for Warner/Elektra/Atlantic Corp.1
