As the regional FP&A lead, I support the European business, providing the link between the region and the corporate finance function based in California. Veeva has a presence throughout Europe, and most notably in the UK, France, Spain, Germany and Hungary, where we retain offices.

Zinc Ahead was acquired by Veeva Systems on 29 September 2015.

Zinc Ahead was one of the first SaaS (Software as a Service) businesses in the UK. Founded in 2001, the company's proprietary software Zinc MAPS provided content compliance and digital media management for the life sciences industry.

As FC, I owned all financial processes, planning, analysis and statutory reporting for the business, building the finance team in the process. As the business continued to grow at over 20% a year, I managed systems and processes changes and was involved in a range of operational and financial projects, including the setup of the Australian and Japanese operations, the equity investment from Accel-KKR in 2013 and finally the sale to Veeva in 2015.

Following the acquisition, my primary role has been maintaining the Zinc business and integrating the company's processes to align with Veeva.

Carillion plc is a British multinational facilities management and construction services company headquartered in Wolverhampton, United Kingdom. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.

Working within the Planned Maintenance division in Battersea and subsequently the Facilities Management division in Isleworth, I was responsible for the balance sheet and specifically intercompany arrangements and later I became a financial systems owner.

Working within the audit team, I gained experience auditing a number of small and medium sized businesses, primarily owner managed and foreign owned UK trading arms, in a wide range of industries.
