Created a consulting practice providing accounting, finance and operational assistance to companies undergoing stress due to under performance or rapid growth.  Work on behalf of private equity owners to take their portfolio companies through stressful situations; sometimes involving periods of rapid growth and other times involving financial under performance.  Analyze financial and operational performance, develop and implement specific improvement initiatives and act as interim chief financial officer.  Assist with acquisition integration, working capital management and secure financing.  Also represent creditors in turnarounds and conduct due diligence on acquisition targets and provide closing-related services.

Led accounting, finance and technology teams for this global industrial company.  Took company public on NASDAQ in 2009.  Completed numerous acquisitions and joint ventures.  Effected divestitures of non-core assets.  Completed several major debt financings and selected and implemented SAP.  Built global accounting and finance team with responsibility for timely and accurate SEC filings and internal compliance.  Achieved SOX and FCPA compliance. Led investor relations, secured analyst coverage for this newly public company and turned over investor base to long-term focused investors.

Analyzed individual properties, negotiated loan extensions and modifications, developed assessment models and implemented a database to capture and analyze property performance and loan quality.
