Malachi Petersen

Malachi Petersen is a passionate individual with a keen interest in understanding people and government policies at various levels. With a background in journalism and public administration, he excels at communication and project management.

Malachi has a Master's degree in Public Administration with a 4.0 GPA from the Graduate School at the University of South Dakota. He also holds Bachelor's degrees in Journalism and Political Science from the same university, graduating with a 3.68 GPA.

Professionally, Malachi has served as a City Planner at the City of West Fargo and previously worked as the Government & Community Relations Coordinator at Emerging Prairie. He has held various internships and roles in organizations such as the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, City of Vermillion, SD, and Vermillion Area Chamber & Development Company.

In addition to his professional roles, Malachi has experience as a freelance writer at Sioux Falls Business Journal and has interned at media outlets like San Antonio Express-News, Argus Leader, and The Bemidji Pioneer. He also has experience in retail as a cashier at Scheels and Family Christian.
