Maitê Albuquerque, a Group Creative Director originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, has made a name for herself in the advertising industry. With over 15 years of experience under her belt, she has worked with tech giants like Google, Facebook, and Pinterest, and global brands like Coca Cola, Fanta, Stella Artois, and Propel-Gatorade. Her work has been recognized with awards like One Show and Cannes, and she recently received an Emmy nomination. Maitê is proud of her involvement in projects that help empower girls, such as providing education to thousands of girls in India and introducing nearly one million girls to code in the US through Google. Along with her impressive professional career, she divides her time between teaching at ArtCenter College of Design, mentoring a project that helps Brazilian ad women work abroad, and raising her baby daughter, Mel.
