Mai Ryuno is a talented Social Practice, installation, and performance artist who is passionate about using her creativity to engage communities and build stronger bonds. With a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Printmaking from the San Francisco Art Institute and a Bachelor's degree in English Language, Mai has over 10 years of experience in teaching studio art, creativity, and Project Based Learning. She has worked with prestigious organizations such as UC Berkeley, the San Francisco Art Institute, Monterey Peninsula College, Hartnell College and Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County, and Association of California School Administrators. Her artworks are concept-driven, process-oriented, and playful, and she invites her audience to participate in her performance art to complete the work through creative collaboration. Mai cares deeply for her community, and her work reflects her desire to explore artistic practice and experience.
