Mahmoud Adi is an experienced investment professional who has made a name for himself in the venture capital industry. He is a founding partner of Shorooq Partners, a leading early-stage VC firm based in the Middle East that has gained widespread recognition for its ability to identify and nurture innovative tech startups. Alongside his work at Shorooq Partners, Adi was the CEO of Hub71AD, a global tech ecosystem in the capital city of the UAE. Adi is a passionate believer in the transformative power of technology and he is committed to helping entrepreneurs bring their ideas to life in the Middle East.

Adi's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Petroleum Institute in Abu Dhabi. He also attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where he earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in General Management.

Prior to his involvement with Shorooq Partners, Adi held various leadership positions in the investment sector. He was a Vice President at Mubadala Investment Company and was involved in Corporate Strategy, Business Development, and M&A at GLOBALFOUNDRIES. In addition, Adi was a Co-Founder and Board Member at Pure Harvest Smart Farms, a company that uses advanced technology to grow locally-sourced fresh produce in arid climates.
