Mahi Shafiullah

Mahi Shafiullah is an accomplished individual with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the fields of Computer Science and Mathematics. They hold a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from New York University. Additionally, Mahi earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics and Computer Science from MIT. They have excelled academically, achieving a GPA of 5.00 in both their Secondary School Certificate and Higher Secondary School Certificate, respectively, from Monipur High School & College and Dhaka College.

Professionally, Mahi has engaged in various roles across prestigious organizations. They have served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences and previously held the same position at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL). Additionally, Mahi has gained industry experience as a Quantitative Developer Intern at The D. E. Shaw Group, a Software Engineering Intern at Quora, and Kensho Technologies. Their diverse skill set is further demonstrated through roles like Photo Editor at The Tech (MIT), Tutor for Introduction to Algorithms at MIT, and Pilot Project Coordinator at Project Bangla Pi.
