Mahendra Chandrasekhar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance technology, system architecture, design, and implementation. He is currently the India head for Finance Technology at Morgan Stanley, where he manages and supports systems for Daily PnL sign-off and Balance Sheet generation. He has previously worked as the India head for Internal Trade Activity Reporting Department and the Trade Enrichment, Allocations, and Reporting Super Department. Mahendra has also served as the global lead for Volcker Rule Reporting and the technical lead and delivery owner within Prime Brokerage.

Mahendra's functional expertise includes a thorough understanding of Daily PnL sign-off processes and the generation of the firms' balance sheets. He also possesses a good understanding of the workings of various asset classes such as Equity Swaps, CDS, Outright Cash Securities, Cash Processing, and Corporate Actions. Furthermore, Mahendra has a fair understanding of the Fund Administration business and was involved in the end-to-end architecture of the custody reporting solution, which involved consolidated reporting across all asset classes traded across the firm. He also has a good understanding of the trade flow around the middle office, involving trade enrichment, allocations, and trade/regulatory reporting.

Mahendra is skilled in SQL, Tableau, Python, Data Modelling, System Architecture, and Design. He has good hands-on development experience in Sybase, DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, KDB/Q. He is also a great manager and leader and has been managing large global teams in Finance Technology, Prime Brokerage, and Trade Reporting Applications.

Mahendra graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai.
