Magnus Falk
Digital and Technology leader, advisor and non-executive
Magnus Falk is a seasoned professional with nearly 20 years of experience in various roles with Credit Suisse, including CIO and project manager, across disciplines such as technology, operations, finance, and derivatives. He's also been an advisor to the Board at C. Hoare & Co. and a Senior Advisor at the Financial Conduct Authority.
Before entering the financial sector, Magnus spent several years in the British Army as a captain and also worked as a mining engineer for Anglo American.
Magnus believes in simplicity and cost-effectiveness in government technology, an ethos he brought to his role as Deputy Chief Technology Officer at the Government Digital Service. At present, he's assisting businesses in leveraging the "everything as a service" era.
Magnus earned a 1st Class Honours bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from Imperial College London, was previously a Non Executive Director at Crown Hosting Data Centres Limited, and has a wealth of experience in investment banking IT.
