Mafalda Sequeira

Mafalda Sequeira is a Product Design Manager and advocate of a human-centered approach in personal and professional life. She emphasizes designing for people, fostering empathy, and maintaining a humane team environment.

Alongside her role as a Product Design Manager, Mafalda has a background in the education sector, co-founding the Postgraduate course in Digital Experience Design at the University of Lisbon. Her experience in academia has provided her with insights into the digital design landscape and allowed her to mentor and work with young talent.

Mafalda holds a Master's degree in Communication Design and New Media, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Communication Design from the Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa. She has also completed a course in Leading Teams in the Digital Age at Hyper Island.

In terms of professional experience, Mafalda has held positions such as Product Design Manager and Senior Product Designer at OLX Group, Senior Product Designer at Uniplaces, and Front-end Teacher at Le Wagon. She also has a history of mentoring and teaching roles at various institutions like EDIT. - Disruptive Digital Education, Designlab, and Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa, where she served as the Digital Experience Design Course Director and Lecturer.
