Madeline Park is a highly motivated first-year student at Columbia University in New York, equipped with a comprehensive STEM background, including years of physics, math, biology, computer science, chemistry, statistics, and psychology. With experience in human-centered design, leadership, and problem-solving, Madeline is looking for opportunities to hone her computational skills and develop a broader worldview that will ultimately help her solve the world's most pressing problems using tech. Madeline has a track record of working hard, being optimistic, and being dedicated to her goals. Previously, she served as a Summit + Demo Day Lead at the Almaworks Accelerator, Operating Committee Leader at the Columbia Organization of Rising Entrepreneurs, Data Science Intern at Chan Zuckerberg Biohub, Design Thinking Bootcamp Coach at Silicon Valley Career Pathways, Student Chair at the STEM Fair of The Nueva School, US Invitational Young Physicists Tournament Team Lead, Finalist at USIYPT, and Varsity Cross Country Team Captain also at The Nueva School. Additionally, Madeline served as a Curriculum and Strategy Student Fellow at Project Invent, Invention Studio Co-Captain at The Nueva School, Founding Member at Stria Labs, and Presenter at ASBMB 2018 Undergraduate Poster Session at ASBMB, and was involved in Exploration of Immigration at La Linterna.
