Mackenzie Marcotte is a sustainability professional with a focus on defining and achieving sustainability goals for companies.
With a background in food systems and regenerative agriculture, Mackenzie is well-versed in retail decarbonization, target-setting such as SBTi, GHG Protocol footprinting, and reporting frameworks like CDP, GRI, SASB, and TCFD.
Education-wise, Mackenzie holds a Master of Environmental Studies specializing in Corporate Sustainability & Food Systems from the University of Pennsylvania, a Mastère Spécialisé in International Environmental Management from MINES ParisTech, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Environmental Analysis & Policy from Boston University.
Currently, Mackenzie serves as a Senior Knowledge Analyst focusing on Retail Decarbonization at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Prior to this role, Mackenzie held positions such as Decarbonization Analyst at EcoAct, SME Sustainability Consultant at The Climate Collaborative, and EDF Climate Corps Fellow at Verizon.
Mackenzie has also been involved in various initiatives, including being the Co-Founder of Project Plastick, a Fellow at the Clean Energy Leadership Institute, and an Associate at Green Strategies, Inc.
