Maciej Hop is a dedicated DevOps professional with extensive experience in designing and managing cloud solutions on AWS, GCP, and Azure, holding the highest level certifications in all three platforms.

From his early days in IT helpdesk, Maciej has evolved to lead teams in designing and implementing highly scalable and fault-tolerant applications that can autonomously restart, with a keen focus on CI/CD processes and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

With expertise in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Cloudformation, he ensures transparent and predictable infrastructure restarts while optimizing costs.

He excels in monitoring, infrastructure security, code debugging, team leadership, and effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, making complex restart strategies understandable to all.

Maciej's daily routine involves managing a wide array of technologies and platforms including Elasticbeanstalk, RDS, EC2, Cloudfront, Lambda, Docker, security protocols, IAM, DNS, billing, and more.

Actively involved in the IT community, Maciej attends conferences to stay updated on industry trends and best practices, boasting numerous IT certifications and a penchant for continuous learning.

Beyond his technical expertise, Maciej also runs a cycling blog, showcasing his diverse interests and passions outside the realm of IT.

With a Master's degree in Information Technology from the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, Maciej has amassed a wealth of experience working in various roles before his current position as Digital Architecture & Platform Lead at RB.
