Macarena Plaza is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in urban planning and architecture.

She holds a Master of Science in City Design and Social Science with a focus on Urban Studies/Affairs from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Macarena also completed a Bachelor of Architecture at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas, showcasing her strong foundation in architectural principles.

With a passion for urban development, Macarena has held key positions in various organizations. She currently serves as the Lead Planning Analyst at Cityscape Digital, where she contributes to shaping urban environments through innovative planning strategies.

Previously, she excelled as an Architectural Consultant at Porphyrios Associates and as an Urban Researcher focusing on the Brent Responsible Growth Strategy at Brent Council. Macarena's experience extends to roles such as Architect and Research Assistant at K+M ARQUITECTURA Y URBANISMO, as well as Architectural Assistant positions at Arquitecta Pilar Mercado and Baertl & Baertl Arquitectos e Ingenieros.
