Maayan Gal

Maayan Gal is a seasoned bio-physicist known for her expertise in drug discovery, specifically from hit-to-lead stages. She has a strong background in fragment-based drug screening and optimization, protein expression, purification, and chemical enhancement.

Her specialties include various aspects of biochemistry such as molecular biology cloning, protein expression, NMR spectroscopy, and fragment-based drug screening. Additionally, her physics expertise encompasses signal processing, NMR methods, spectroscopy, and proficiency in tools like Matlab and programming.

Maayan Gal pursued her education with dedication, culminating in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry from the prestigious Weizmann Institute of Science. She also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biology-Physics from Bar-Ilan University.

Throughout her career, Maayan Gal has been associated with esteemed organizations. Currently, she serves as a Principal Investigator at Tel Aviv University. Previously, she played pivotal roles as a Co-Founder and Scientific Advisor at Bountica and ProJini AgChem, as well as a Principal Scientist at MIGAL Galilee Research Institute.
