Prior to this, he served as the Marketing and PR/Media Manager Winter for Switzerland Tourism, showcasing his commitment to promoting tourism destinations effectively.

Before his tenure at Switzerland Tourism, Maarten gained valuable experience as a Jr Consultant at USP Marketing PR, where he honed his consultancy skills and industry knowledge. He also contributed to the tourism sector by working as a Front office employee at VIP SA agence immobilière in Veysonnaz, Switzerland, and as a Trainee at Sabah Tourism Board in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.
