Assistant Editor of Special Editions at The Word Among Us
Lynne May is an experienced Assistant Editor of Special Editions at The Word Among Us with a strong background in proofreading, writing meditations, compiling readings, and editing publications. She holds a Master of Social Work degree with focuses on youth work, social work in urban settings, and grant writing. Lynne has completed her M.S.W. at the University of Michigan, where she studied Social Work with a Major in Community Organization and a Minor in Interpersonal Practice, along with a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature/Letters with a concentration in Medieval and Early Modern Studies.
In addition to her role at The Word Among Us, Lynne May has held positions as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, an Intern at the American Red Cross Southeastern Michigan Region, Mission Staff at University Christian Outreach, and an Intern at YouthWorks-Detroit.
