Lynne Bond

Lynne Bond is a versatile individual with a diverse background in storytelling, pop culture, education, and activism. As a storyteller and rebel against rules, Lynne brings a fun and fierce energy to all her endeavors. With experience as a writer, director, producer, professor, teacher, mentor, and activist, Lynne is dedicated to revolutionizing the film and television industry towards more open and diverse discussions and storytelling. She also serves as a public speaker on film history and studies, a film critic on WSIU Public Radio, and an entertainment industry coordinator with ten years of experience across various fields including the recording industry, film, TV, and theatre.

In education, Lynne Bond has been an educator and scholar for ten years, specializing in the performing and visual arts. She is a specialist in screenwriting, creative writing, public speaking, social movement organizing, and communication. She is a current PhD Candidate (ABD) in Mass Communications & Media Arts at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, holds an MFA in Film (Screenwriting) from Columbia University School of the Arts, and a Bachelor's degree in Theatre and Philosophy from Smith College.

Actively involved in various organizations, Lynne is the VP of Membership of the Women in the Arts and Media Coalition, and a member of New York Women in Film and Television (NYWIFT). She is also a co-founder and board member of A Lady Macbeth Initiative, showcasing her commitment to empowering women in the arts and media. With a rich and varied background encompassing teaching, writing, activism, and coordination in the entertainment industry, Lynne Bond is a multi-talented individual seeking partnerships and collaborations in her mission for change and creativity.
