Lynn Osmond, an experienced professional with over 20 years of leadership in the Chicago Architecture Center. With her passion for architecture and design, Osmond has transformed the organization from an architecture enthusiast group to an education center that focuses on the importance of design. Osmond has a Bachelor of Music, Music major, with a business minor from Queen's University and studied an Advanced Executive Program in Business Administration and Management, General at Kellogg Executive Education.
As the President and Chief Executive Officer at the Chicago Architecture Center (CAC), Osmond has fulfilled her long-time vision of creating a space dedicated to celebrating Chicago's architectural legacy and its impact on the world. Under her leadership, CAC has become the largest public architecture organization in the world, renowned for its docent-led tours, thought-provoking programs, and engaging youth education initiatives. CAC's experience includes a large-scale Chicago city model, interactive video, dramatic skyscraper exhibition, and rotating gallery about future cities.
Osmond is passionate about the future of cities and its influence on people's lives. According to the Chicago Tribune, CAC is "the latest jewel in Chicago's architectural crown." Osmond's leadership has contributed to CAC's stellar reputation, which includes the famous Chicago Architecture Center River Cruise on Chicago's First Lady and Open House Chicago.
