Lyndsay Martinchuk Chauvet

Lyndsay Martinchuk Chauvet, originally from Los Angeles, California, has been residing in and around Lausanne for the past fourteen years.

With extensive teaching experience in various aspects of English, such as English as a second language, IB level literature, and creative writing, Lyndsay has diversified her skills to work as an independent contractor in fields like private tutoring, proofreading, editing, light translation (French to English), and copywriting for local businesses.

Since 2021, Lyndsay has been primarily focused on proofreading and editing technical writing alongside creating and upkeeping writing guidelines.

Her educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from UC Santa Barbara and a High School Diploma from Chaminade High School.

Lyndsay has held various roles in organizations, such as being a Freelance Proofreader and Editor at Nexthink, Captain of English at English with Lyndsay, Consultant at International Baccalaureate, IB English Teacher at Ecole Nouvelle de la Suisse Romande, and Senior Teacher/Junior Learning Coordinator at Wall Street English.
