Luyi Hunter

Luyi Hunter is a highly educated professional with a PhD in Environmental Management and an MS in Computer Science. With over 4 years of experience, Luyi specializes in Machine Learning aided environmental data analysis, spatio-temporal modeling, product Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and database management. Proficient in Python, Java, PostgreSQL/Oracle SQL, and ArcGIS.

Luyi pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bioproducts and Biosystems Science, Engineering, and Management from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Furthermore, Luyi also holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Shanghai University.

Throughout his career, Luyi has worked at prestigious organizations including Google as a Software Engineer and previously served as a Software Engineer Intern at Salesforce. Luyi's professional journey also includes roles as an Application Developer Intern at General Mills, Research Intern at Minnesota Population Center, Research Assistant at Institute on the Environment at the University of Minnesota, and a Graduate Research Assistant at Northwest Advanced Renewables Alliance (NARA).
