Luumu Jokelainen is a multi-talented artist and creative media worker from Finland. Jokelainen has a background in Journalism, but has always been drawn to the visual arts, ceramics, and design. After completing a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Turku University in Finland, Jokelainen went on to attain a Master's Degree in Journalism from Iringa University. Jokelainen also completed a Bachelor of Culture and Arts in Smart and Sustainable Design, with a focus on Glass and Ceramics at Häme University of Applied Sciences. With a passion for sculpture, painting, design, and all things creative, Jokelainen is eager to work with different mediums and projects.

Jokelainen has held various positions in journalism, communications, editorial staff and web journalism. Jokelainen has also been a Slush Head of Storytelling, a Floor Manager at Lentil as Anything, and Communications Assistant at Torikorttelit. Jokelainen has also completed internships at Yleisradio and Etelä-Suomen Media Oy. Jokelainen is described as a hardworking and reliable individual who has the right mindset to work in an international, fast-paced, and creative work environment that requires high output and a positive attitude.

Jokelainen is currently a first-year Ceramic Design student who, along with joining an entrepreneurship, plans to make ceramic sculptures, dishes, lamps, and furniture. Jokelainen is drawn to art and culture, but is also interested in various subjects including science, human rights, LGBTQ+, literature, nature, travel, environmental issues, politics, animals, music, and event management.
