Luke Howells, an experienced civil engineer with expertise in highway design and maintenance, Civil 3D, and Autodesk AEC. Luke went from being an apprentice to becoming a Principal Highway Engineer before transitioning to teaching and sharing his knowledge in highway design and BIM implementation through the Autodesk AEC collection. He has studied NVQ Site Technical Support, Level 3 at Shrewsbury College of Art & Technology, HNC in Civil Engineering at The University of Wolverhampton, and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) diploma in Construction at Shrewsbury College of Art & Technology. Luke is an Associate in Development Infrastructure at WSP in the UK and a former fellow at the Institute of Highway Engineers.

Luke has worked in various roles, including Digital Construction Consultant, Principal Engineer at Arcadis, Technical Lead (Infrastructure) at Cadline, and Senior Highway Engineer at Telford & Wrekin Council, among others. He also served as a Divisional Officer at St John Ambulance and a Senior Highways Technician at Jacobs.

Luke's passion for civil engineering and highway design drives him to stay up-to-date with new technologies while using his experience to improve current workflows.
