With a rich military background, Luke has served in various roles at prestigious units, including the 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, and the 75th Ranger Regiment, U.S. Army.

Luke has held key positions such as Brigade Lead Defense Travel Administrator (LDTA) Program Manager, Battalion Small Arms/Artillery Supervisor, Infantryman/Rifleman (11B), and has undergone rigorous training programs like Ranger Indoctrination Program (RIP) and US Army Airborne School.
