Lukas Feiler

Lukas Feiler is the head of the IP and IT team at Baker McKenzie in Vienna. He is a fellow at the Stanford-Vienna Transatlantic Technology Law Forum (TTLF) and teaches courses on 'European and International Privacy Law' and 'Smart Contracts' at the University of Vienna Law School. With a background that includes working as an associate at an international law firm, vice director at the European Center for E-Commerce and Internet Law, and intern at the European Commission, DG Information Society & Media, Lukas brings a wealth of experience to his current role. He has also held positions at IT companies in Vienna, Leeds, and New York, where he gained valuable insights as a system administrator and software developer. Lukas Feiler was recognized as the Cyber Security Lawyer of the Year for Austria in the 2014 Finance Monthly Law Awards and received the Jus-Top-League Award in 2011 for being one of the five most promising up-and-coming lawyers.
