Luiz Otavio Duarte

Meet Luiz Otavio Duarte, an experienced Information Assurance and Security Consultant at Facti, with a background in software, computer and network security. With vast expertise in forensics, auditing, system security evaluation and certification, he has worked for prestigious organizations such as CenPRA/MCT, INPE/MCT, ACME! Computer Security Research Team, and IBTA across different roles such as a security specialist, network and system administrator, computer science professor, and Computer Security Researcher. He is a Master of System Information Security, INPE/MCT and holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Universidade Estadual Paulista.

Luiz's specialties include Project Management on Information Security, Information Risk Management System, Framework and Methodology, Business continuity, Disaster recovery, and System Auditing. Additionally, his expertise in various programming languages, including C/C++, Java Script, Shell Script, and Assembly, among others, has enabled him to deploy and analyze security solutions, design and develop software, and maintain system security.
