Luiz Aires

Luiz Aires is the Head of Investor Relationship at RPS Capital Investment Management since 2014. He serves as RPS' Senior Partner responsible for investor relations department and business development, overseeing BRL 3.5 billion raised by 1Q21 focused on Latin American SFO/MFO, Asset & Wealth Managers, and Institutional Investors. Luiz is also a member of RPS' Investment Committee and Executive Committee.

Prior to his current role, Luiz worked as an Equity Research Sales professional from 2006 to 2014. In this capacity, he maintained daily relationships with LATAM asset managers having AUM up to USD 1 billion, assisting the equity head of sales with coverage of top Brazilian accounts, and coordinating Non-Deal Roadshows & Corporate Access events supported by the Research Team.

Luiz Aires pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a focus on Finance at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. Additionally, he has completed the CPA-20 certification program offered by ANBIMA Certificação e Educação.

Throughout his career, Luiz has held key positions in renowned organizations including serving as the VP of Institutional Equity Sales at Banco Safra, an Associate in Institutional Equity Sales at DEUTSCHE BANK, and an Analyst and Salesperson at Morgan Stanley.
