He is the founder of Penka - Agave Fiber Products, offering FDA and USDA certified bio-based products like agave straws, made from the byproducts of Tequila and Agave syrup production. These straws are biodegradable and compostable, breaking down in landfills without the need for industrialized processes. Luis Farfan's commitment to sustainability extends to food sourcing, as he is involved in distributing the original Mexican Vanilla, supporting indigenous families and conducting research on Vanilla crops and sustainability. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey and is currently pursuing a Project Management Certificate at the University of Utah. With a diverse professional background, Luis has held strategic planning and managerial roles at companies like RIA Distributing, Nearmap, Qualtrics, Calahua, Molina USA, and Unilever.
