Founder & Managing Director

Defined and led on the Brazilian Tech companies insertion in the GCC by driving initiatives to match market developments and sector-oriented needs. Assessed and shortlisted companies to the region’s largest Tech conference and provided capacitation / site visits, which leveraged in 60% the classification of Brazilian companies leading to 14 semi-finalists, 5 finalists and 2 winners and originated the first success case in the Dubai office.

Supervised and collaborated with cross-functional teams to formulate new lead generation and client management flows. Exceeded year-on-year KPIs and supported 95 companies to enter the GCC market.

Coordinated MENA Government & Corporate affairs by identifying, analyzing and communicating business actions, investment opportunities and regulatory/fiscal reforms to serve the needs of Embassies, Ministries, Investment Promotion Agencies and Institutional Investors (SWFs, PEVC and GCC family offices). 

Crafted an outreach plan including access to bilateral intelligence through reports and a Brazil-GCC FDI intelligence directory, that was incorporated into the official publication of 2021. Access to high-level authorities and investors, taking ownership of regional projects and co-organizing presidential/ ministerial visits for over 1,200 delegates in total: UAE (2) and Saudi Arabia (1), occasion which Brazil secured U$10 billion from Public Investment Fund.

Spokesperson in trade missions, road shows, conferences and webinars in collaboration with partners such as Dubai FDI, Abu Dhabi Investment office, WAIPA, etc.

Supported agency’s strategic direction with thorough recommendations on targeted sectors/markets, external messaging and reputational/operational drawbacks. Provided advice and required profiling and match-making in the Turkish infrastructure market while straightening relations with the UAE.

Managed external service providers and consultants, through RFPs for investment attraction in the GCC at the Expo Dubai 2020.

Senior Investment Officer

Developed market access and corporate affairs functions to drive awareness on investment opportunities between UAE/KSA/Brazil. Established a network of 12 external governmental and corporate partners to develop a dedicated mission to Brazilian GPs in GCC.

Built alliances and hosted a series of events between Brazilian entrepreneurs in the UAE to overcome the challenges of building successful businesses which impacted 100 entrepreneurs, in total. 

Built an Advisory board (President of Bayer Brazil, Investor at Shark Tank Brazil, and counterparts in Silicon Valley & China).

Advised Senior Management on mitigating the impact of identified risks/adverse situations and supervised the overall presentation flow of the board meeting including key messages, milestones, proposed direction, initiatives and its business impact. Converted a diverse profile of investors into ambassadors and confirmed 45% of the investment round’s commitments.

Developed and maintained strategic relationships with stakeholders by developing new concepts and solutions based on audience engagement and conversion metrics as well as trends and service/product launches. Developed pitching opportunities alongside Netflix and Snapchat Middle East besides case studies with Heinz (2x ROI), Huawei (4x ROI)  and Dubai TV (30% above target) and the formation of an Innovation committee to drive team engagement for innovative solutions.

Led the Business Development department to drive international deals ensuring targets are being met by team management and expanding 4x its initial size and scope and integrated the UAE, Jordan and Lebanon offices. 

Crafted and executed the go-to-market strategy for Eureeca’s market expansion, by overseeing the entire process, ensuring team’s operations against the strategy from defining criteria for success, to a thorough understanding of market conditions and regulatory processes, besides strategic partnerships management, reputation building, and stakeholder engagement. Expanded the operations in MENA, Europe and Southeast Asia. 

Supervised the team on sales cycle, lead generation (inbound / outbound), and sales pitch to educate the market about the financial solution. Coordinated the cross-functional teams to improve the processes and systems including Identifying potential investors, collecting KYC documents for due diligence and advising on capital raising recommendations. 

Provided continuous business insights and investor/entrepreneur’s feedback ensuring cross functional alignment of goals and sustained ongoing listed companies and completed fundraising rounds. 

Increased 49% of Eureeca’s performance by establishing deal flow partnerships, enhancing sales pitch, methodologies and softwares adoption, organizing and conducting internal investment committees.

Endeavor Global

Led on the largest Entrepreneurship movement in Brazil, Global Entrepreneurship Week, by overseeing the entire process, from developing/maintaining a network of stakeholders to managing the nationwide Marketing & Communications outreach strategy to capitalizing funding and sponsorship. Achieved U$7 million in in-kind media and approximately U$3 million in fundraising initiatives.

Established trusting relationships with NGOs, corporates, media and universities to co-create related initiatives and monitored results and data intelligence of 1500 partners engaged in 3000 activities throughout 26 Estates in Brazil, which led to 3 global awards within 3 years by the Kauffman Foundation’s Congresses (130+ countries). 

Promoted and influenced the digital transformation within the organizational culture (Brazil) by designing and implementing the first Digital department of the organization and creating new positions to redistribute the scope of work. 

Developed & executed strategies to advance Endeavor’s business interests: mapped key stakeholders, collected and analyzed overall feedback and insights, prepared outreach plans and community engagement on an international level. New and existing projects were in collaboration/sponsored by Ernst & Young, Cisco and Emirates NBD, Sebrae, DBM, Natura, Santander.
