Lucy Guo

Lucy Guo is a notable entrepreneur and the Chief Executive Officer of Moment, a startup focused on providing a web3 platform for creators. She co-founded Scale AI, a data labeling company, in 2016, which has since been valued at approximately $13.8 billion. After leaving Scale AI in 2018, Guo founded Backend Capital, a venture capital firm, and later launched Moment in 2024, which has already raised significant funding, including a $40 million Series A round in February 2024.12

Born in Fremont, California, Guo learned to code at a young age and pursued a degree in computer science at Carnegie Mellon University.
