Lucy Guo is a rising star in the tech industry, having made a name for herself as a product designer and entrepreneur. She was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 for founding Scale.com and currently serves as Founder and General Partner at Backend Capital, a fund that invests in promising startups around the world. Before launching Backend Capital, she worked at Snapchat and Quora as a product designer, and also spent time interning at Facebook and Endless Mobile.
Lucy is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, where she studied Computer Science and Human-Computer Interactions. During her time there, she was also a recipient of the Thiel Fellowship. In addition to her work in tech, Lucy has developed several apps that have been used by millions of people and covered by major media outlets like Business Insider, Mashable, CNet, and Wired.
