Summary
Lucy Buck is a versatile and accomplished individual who has dedicated her career to making a difference in the lives of others. With a background in TV production and a degree in Politics and Sociology from the University of Reading, she has honed her skills as a creative storyteller and impactful communicator. 
As the founder and CEO of Child's i Foundation, Lucy led a team of over 75 professionals, raising more than £6m to support vulnerable children in Uganda. Their work helped to transition over 2,000 children out of orphanages and back into families. As a result of their collaboration with the Ugandan government, they established a child protection system that has positively impacted thousands of children and families.
Lucy's passion for collaboration, audience mapping, and storytelling has led her to establish The Good Company People and continue working towards creating lasting, meaningful social impact. Her resourcefulness and tenacity combined with her ability to connect with others give her the tools to stand up for people and give them a voice.
From her beginnings as a Researcher at MTV UK, Northern & Eastern Europe, to her roles as a Producer at Endemol, ITV, and Outline Productions, Lucy has developed a track record of success in media. As a UBS Global Visionary and Vodafone World of Difference winner, she has proved her ability to operate across different sectors and bring about positive change.
