Lucinda Statler

Lucinda Statler is a seasoned urban planner and designer with a strong background in both the public and private sectors.

With initial experience in landscape architecture as an Associate at SWA Group in Houston, Lucinda transitioned into urban planning by earning a Master's Degree in Urban Planning from Harvard University Graduate School of Design, specializing in land-use planning.

Lucinda's career includes over six years as the senior urban design planner for the City of Columbia, SC, where she played a key role in urban design review during an economic upturn.

Her expertise spans various areas including writing and administering urban design guidelines, design and development review, conducting public meetings and presentations, master planning, and streetscape design.

Lucinda's involvement extends beyond professional duties; she has served as President of the Columbia Design League and was a part of the Leadership Columbia class of 2009.

She holds a Master's Degree in Urban Planning from Harvard University and a Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture from Auburn University.

Lucinda has held roles such as Planning Administrator, Urban Design Planner, and Parks Planner/Manager at the City of Columbia, in addition to her involvement with the Medford Brooks Estate Land Trust and as an Associate at SWA Group.
