Lucia Modesto

Lucia Modesto is an accomplished educator and passionate advocate for social impact. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education K-12 from New York University and has gained extensive work experience through various roles in business development, partnerships management, and operations management.

Lucia has served in multiple leadership positions within nonprofit organizations, including The Leadership Circle, FreeWill, and DonorsChoose.org, where she was responsible for cultivating partnerships, managing accounts, and coordinating alumni affairs. She has also worked closely with Teach For America, Urban Arts Partnership, and MovingWorlds to advance educational opportunities and community engagement efforts.

As a former Coro Leadership NY participant and Global Social Impact Fellow at MovingWorlds, Lucia has honed her skills in leadership, strategy, and cross-cultural communication. She is a talented musician and accomplished teaching artist with expertise in music education, curriculum design, and youth development. With her broad experience and commitment to social change, Lucia is well-equipped to make a positive impact in any organization or community.
