Lucia Comnes

Lucia Comnes is an experienced digital health executive based in Milan, Italy, with a background in technology, design, and innovation dating back to 2007 in the San Francisco Bay Area.

For the past 6 years, Lucia has been working closely with Italian digital health start-ups, focusing on building strategic partnerships and driving business development in the digital health innovation space, particularly in EU and international initiatives in AI, medtech, medicine informatics, therapy adherence, and patient empowerment.

Currently serving as the Director of Innovation Programs at Datawizard, Lucia manages a team of experts to develop digital health initiatives in Italy and the EU, with a strong emphasis on the EU Horizon 2020 program. She has led efforts in grant preparation, resulting in winning multiple grants totaling over €3 million.

Lucia's skill set includes strategic growth, customer-facing leadership, international partnerships and business development in digital healthcare, versatile product management with a focus on web applications and enterprise software development, and IT project management with expertise in agile methodology and cross-functional teamwork.

Apart from her professional endeavors, Lucia is multilingual (fluent in English, Italian, and Spanish), a music enthusiast, and has a personal interest in environmental stewardship, volunteer work, and sustainability.
