Lucas Westcoat

Lucas Westcoat is a Seattle-based Senior Communications Manager at Microsoft, where he collaborates with an exceptional team of communicators, marketers, and engineers to develop communication strategies that educate, empower, and inspire people through showcasing the people and purpose behind Microsoft's innovative products. He is a versatile and experienced communications professional with a background in public relations, marketing, and event management. Lucas is driven by the desire to tell stories and develop strategies that help people achieve their goals, connect with others, and make a positive impact on the world.

Lucas began his communications journey as a marketing representative at Sony Music Group. From there, he went on to work in public relations and communications at an array of technology companies, like WatchGuard Technologies and WE Communications. With a Bachelor of Science in Business/Corporate Communications from Central Washington University, Lucas is well-versed in crafting compelling messages and telling stories that resonate with audiences.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Lucas has established himself as a talented photographer, running his photography business, www.elldubphoto.com. He is a devoted husband and father, valuing his family above all else, and formerly served as the Student Body President at Central Washington University in his younger days.
