Lucas Macedo

Lucas Macedo is a seasoned professional with over 12 years of experience in overseeing large engineering projects, with the majority of his career spent at the country's leading Engineering and Construction company.

He has directly contributed to the construction of significant projects in Railways, Subway Systems, Low-Income Housing, Multipurpose Arenas, and Urban Infrastructure and Revitalization - some of the largest in Brazil.

As a manager, Lucas has been responsible for the conservation and maintenance of civil disciplines within the Porto Maravilha Urban Operation in Rio de Janeiro, overseeing a vast area that includes landmarks like the Olympic Boulevard and Valongo Wharf.

Driven by transparent and ethical practices, Lucas has a track record of achieving results.

For the past 1.5 years, he has ventured into entrepreneurship within the Renewable Energy sector.

His educational background includes a degree in Civil Engineering from UFBA - Universidade Federal da Bahia and an MBA in International Executive Project Management from Fundação Getulio Vargas.

Currently, Lucas holds the position of CEO at SDB Energia Solar.

His previous roles include being a Contract Manager at Engebahia Engenharia e Construção, Coordinator of Services and Operations II at Concessionária Porto Novo SA - Porto Maravilha, and various engineering positions at Odebrecht, Costa Andrade, and other esteemed organizations.

Lucas has accumulated valuable experience as a Civil Engineer through internships at CM Machado Engenharia, Odebrecht, Pelir Engenharia Ltda, and Marcelo Diniz Gonçalves Condomínios.
