Lucas Amber

Lucas Amber is a seasoned mechanical design engineer with a wealth of experience and education. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University and continued his education by obtaining a 4.0 in Continuing Education from the University of Vermont. Before joining Tesla as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, he worked for Ford Motor Company as a Hybrid Battery Development Engineer and for Princeton University as an Electric Vehicle Battery Researcher. His passion for building started early on in his career as he worked as a Carpenter for Pepper Hill Builders and eventually co-founded Amber Landscaping. Amber's diverse background in construction and engineering makes him a valuable asset in his current position, where he specializes in creating practical and innovative designs for Tesla's electric vehicles.
